The Velcon Model AWS Drum Washer is a totally automatic drum and container washing system, designed to perform the entire start-to-finish cleaning and reconditioning operation without the aid of an operator. Automatically and in sequence the AWS positions incoming drums, locates and removes the plug, washes and dries the drum and reinstalls the bung plug.
     
 

 
      The AWS handles both new or reconditioned drums - with height variations of up to 1-1/2 inches. In addition, it can be adapted to cleanse other size containers (either steel or plastic). The washing station is completely enclosed with an integral booth for splash and overspray retention and can easily be equipped for vapor removal.   
     The AWS is designed with the utmost degree of
forethought to facilitate washing in the safest and cleanest way possible. It is designed for easy operator use. A two line display on the control panel prompts the operator through the entire setup and run operations. The control components of the AWS are state-of-the-art, and solid-state with brand name hardware recognized as the best available in the world. Additionally, easy accessibility to components and maximization of parts standardization lead to low maintenance and minimum spare parts inventory.
